“I hope my paintings invite the beholder to use their own story - to be reminded of a magical day by the sea or walk in the hills. I want them to be a springboard from which to dive into a realm of colour, memory, reality or dream.”

Emma studied at Camberwell College of Arts and since graduating has worked as a freelance illustrator, muralist and artist. In the past she travelled extensively through India,Indonesia, Europe and New Zealand painting murals and having exhibitions.

The second in her series of children's environmental books titled ‘Yes i can help save the animals’, published by Tango Books will be avaliable in April. Recent illustration commissions include Time Out,Daily Mail,Penguin and The Ivy Press Ltd.

At the moment Emma is settled in Sussex and most of her paintings document its varying landscape and the way times of the day and seasons change its colours and mood.
